Hugging

i How it’s used online There are two common versions of the meme. In the first one, three figures stand for different problems and the yellow figure is whatever brings some relief. That could be stress, deadlines and not getting enough sleep, with coffee coming in as the thing that helps. The other version does the opposite. The yellow figure first looks like the solution, but in the last panel it slams the person into the ground and becomes another problem itself. For example, Problems, Stress and Pain are already making life difficult, then School shows up as if it might help, only for Homework to be the thing that makes everything even worse. How it’s used by brands The hug version is the direct one. You can show three problems your customers already know, with your product, a feature or the result of using it as the yellow figure coming in as the savior. The yellow figure can also be an offer that gives people some relief, like a discount, free shipping or a deal that shows up at exactly the right time. You can use the same setup for your own team too, with the three things that go wrong in a normal week and the colleague, team or support service that saves the day. The grabbing version works when something looks like the answer at first and then creates another problem, like a free plan with limits, a cheap tool that needs three other tools, or an offer that turns into a long contract. It can also be used for shortcuts people take to save time or money that end up causing more trouble later.
