Finance Guy

i How it’s used online The Finance Guy is the stereotypical finance, consulting or corporate guy who takes work a little too seriously. Most versions give him one short sentence that sounds ridiculous to everyone else but completely normal coming from him. He might say "I built a spreadsheet for our vacation" or proudly admit that he did one Spanish lesson and already put "fluent" on his CV. Other versions have him getting genuinely excited about spreadsheets, productivity tricks, investment takes or some tiny work update. The fleece vest, coffee and company badge do most of the work because you immediately know the type of person he is supposed to be. How it’s used by brands Brands can use him to joke about the kind of corporate behaviour their audience sees every day, or even make fun of themselves a little. A B2B brand could have him turn a normal conversation back to work, like "Nice, your holiday sounds great, but have you seen our new reporting feature?" He also works for those small product updates that sound boring to everyone else but your customers actually care about, like "Hey, you can finally export all your reports in one click." And because he is basically office culture in one person, he also fits jokes about CVs, interviews, meetings, recruiting and everyday corporate life.
